It would help to find a Lindows cross-over platform to open up more possibilities...although I hate the instability...

Hey!

The only linux i've used is one for Macintosh, and it ran like beans so after a couple days i got osx to work on it good. Although i'm considering dual booting it on my desktop.

Not much really, they need to be converted over most of the time, and no one does because they'd have to do it for free pretty much. Unless you can run it in some sort of Virtual Windows. But that'* slow.

Linux has patches for many games.

I know for sure that UT and UT2k3 have patches to run on Linux.

Linux also includes a lot of built in games, like Windows has. They have a ton of games to use. They are a lot of fun.

But most use Linux for other purposes than games, so it'* not a huge priority for software developers.

I like Linux, and I only play UT games, so it'* nice for me.
