I got to sleep in today (
) but around 9:30 my roomate comes and wakes me up and says "I need your help so I can get out of the driveway.". So i get up and get dressed. I go outside and see that his car (97ish Grand Marquee) has slid down the driveway and come to a rest millimeters from my drivers door. Well, the way the cars are sittting I can't pull back away from him without possibly loosing my drivers mirror on his fender, and he can't get his RWD car to go up the driveway on all the ice. So I had an idea....
I went and started up my POS '81 f-150 4x4 which happens to be sitting at the top of the driveway. I drove it closer, hooked up a tow rope and had some fun with my beater truck and 4L. My roomate popped his car into nuetral and I amazingly had no problem at all dragging his 3600+ lb car up an icy driveway and away from my prececious Bonneville.
I knew I bought that truck for a reason.
