MP3 player gadget help
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm just not on the up and up with this stuff....
Here'* what I want/looking for... I want a device that will play MP3s via a built in radio tuner. Plus, I want the device to have a USB port on it so that I can copy songs to the player.
I've heard that an iPod or an iRiver will do this with an additional radio tuner that snaps onto the player. I don't want that. I want it all in one. Something like what a satellite radio does...you set your car stereo to 88.1 (or the like) and the player transmits the signal to that station.
Is there such an "all in one" device out there? If so, what'* it called??

I have a Rio Chiba that came with a built in radio tuner for regular FM/AM radio, but I wouldn't reccommend it if the FM/AM is your main interest (I love my player, but the radio is less then great).

FM/AM isn't my interest at all. I want to put MP3s on a device and have those MP3s played through my radio via a designated radio station. 88.1 was just an example.

FYI it'* called an FM Transmitter or Modulator...
I don't know of any that have it built in, sorry. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend one, I've had 4 different models for my iPod and the quality on all of them was crap.

I have an ipod and until i bought the pioneer ipod control module i used itrip which is a fm modulator for car stereos. The itrip is powered by the ipod itself. You plug it into the top of the ipod and tune a station and away ya go. I definetly recommend these products.
