I once had a cell phone # that had previously belonged to another Jack, I'd get calls for people asking for Jack, I'd say "This is Jack." made for some confusing late night calls since that other Jack knew girls that had the same names as girls I knew.

Then we used to have a landline# that had belonged to some chick who'* boyfriend was in a prison, we'd get collect calls from some State Pen in Ohio. we changed that number pretty quick.

Last week I was getting calls on my cell right around 9:30 in the morning every day. Thankfully they haven't called this week.

Right after I got my phone, I had 1 telemarketer that would call my phone 3 or 4 times a day. I finally answered it one day after the 1st ring, but no one said anything. They haven't called back since.

Some poor bastard here in Columbus had a major problem. The phone number he had used for many, many years was accidentally included in AOL'* software as a local dial-up connection.

I keep getting calls from an international number on my cell phone. They will start calling at 0500 every morning and they will call constantly through-out the day. Then they will go about 2 weeks or so before it happens again. Last time it happen I got 28 calls from them in one day. Took me forever but I finnally discovered that the number is coming from/ or being forward through Ethopia.

I called the phone company to try and block the number and they said that the number was being bounced off 12 different countries in a different sequence everytime so there was nothing I can do but change my number. I have had this number for the last 8 years.... really don't want to change it now. :(

Hey Chris... depending on what cell provider you have, you can call them and have the number blocked from your phone so it cn't come through anymore. But like I said, it all depends on what carrier you have. So call them and ask if they can do that. I know for a fact Verizon can.

But while I'm here wanna here about the call I got today?? Ok...I'll tell ya lol So i'm at work and the phone rings. Now mind you I'm a secretary so I answer the phone all the time. So I answer it as usual...."Broadway Autobody" and this dude is like hey!....where'* my money B*****! I was like excuse me?? He'* like yeah...you owe me for that hit we did. Now at this point I'm like WTH??? So I say dude...you have the wrong number. So he goes on calling me every name in the book and tells me I'm lying to him and he know this is Shaniqua. Now by this time I'm laughing histarically because he thought I was a black woman. So I tell him...excuse me...1st of you called me and I'm not who your looking for. 2nd..do i sound like a Shaniqua to you??? So all of a sudden he says oh um...sh** yo...ur right...you don't sound like shaniqua and he goes...then who is this. So I tell a body-shop and he says who??? So I said F* it I'm the feds and he'* cussin up a storm and hangs up. Guess that'll teach him to make sure he dials the correct number next time.
