Default How do I...

How the hell do yall get 30-some MPG? I try going slower, keeping my foot out of the boost, etc... But I've never seen better than 25 mpg, stock or now. It was 22 when I got it stock, stuff I've done has brought it up to 23 - 25 on a regular basis, now.

Ok.. you can follow OSG'* lead and put a brick or 2x4 under your pedal. That could slow you down.

Most of my driving is in the HOV lane between work and home..so you have no choice but to follow the leader.

If you live too close to work or don't put a ton of highway miles on... you are simply relegated to the mileage you get.

your driving has to be ALL highway, I got 38 mpg on the way down to NC through the mountains of PA and WV. But i have seen as low as 15 in all city driving. Usually i get ~ 17 with a mix Stop and Go and some highway

I gt about 21-23mpg in town driving. 30 mile or more treks on my interstate, which is flat and straight (which makes it hard not to speed, trust me) will yield me up to 35mpg avg.

I was able to get 30-31 in my 2000 Buick Regal GSE with the Series 2 L67, but that was highway driving staying out of boost on a stock car. With my 93 SSEi, I can get 23-25 stock like you, with the best being 26, but that was a relatively flat drive. My drives to my parents have a lot of hills, which make it tough. I usually back it down a gear going up hills to stay out of boost.

Oh, and that was at 55mph driving. If you go any faster than that, your mpg drop out the bottom pretty quick.
