Sin City
I just got back from this movie. I didn't want it to end! IMO it'* a brilliant piece of direction and cinematography. You definitly need an open mind to see this, because the way everything is portrayed is quite different. I've heard really good, and really bad reviews about it, so it'* either a love it or hate it kind of movie. Also, if you like Quentin Tarantino movies, this one is for you.
I loved it!

I loved it as well. Saw it the first night it was out. The directing was great. It definitely kept me interested and at the end left me wanting to see more. There were a couple parts that may have dragged a bit, but looking back, it was almost necessary for that to happen to create the right effect. I would recommend going to see this.

amazing i saw it the night it came out then the next day with a friend i loved it both times and its so wierd how its B&W then colors pop in and make things stand out like becky'* blue eyes when everything else was B&W just little things like that make it cool. Definately a movie for the tarantino types. keeps you entertained all the way through even on the second viewing.

I enjoyed how the period itself was somewhat ambiguous...there were classic cars from the fifties, a newer Ferrari (80s ish), the style of dress was somewhat modern, and one of the mercenaries was using a Steyr AUG (circa late 80s).
All in all, awesome movie, definatly revolutionary as far as "movie structure" is concerned.
