Feel-good story of the day.
My garage right now:
My neighbor'* moved. But the Jeep wasn't able to go with them. They left it with me for a little TLC. A new Walbro fuel pump went in today. Waiting on a new battery and fuel injector (ordered already), and a couple other minor jobs.
Brian dropped by to give a hand with the tank drop today, and brought some beer-flavored water. Soon after he left, he called me and told me he left something for me in the refridgerator:

Seems he'* grateful for the help, and realizes I'm saving him tons of money on the work. The problem is, I don't accept money for helping friends. Now I have to find a way to get this back to him.

Very cool! I've been in the same situation a few times with good friends and co-workers. It'* always tricky and fun finding a way to give it back.

What'* bud doing in YOUR fridge Bill? Even my new kitten is asking WTF on that one.
We all know deep down you are a great guy that is always going out of your way to help others. It'* nice to see your friend appreciates the help. I'd find some interesting way to give it back.. I doubt you'll have trouble.

He brought the bud. MY beer is in the door of the fridge.
I've actually worked on all of his cars. He and his wife have owned 5 since I've known them. 2 are gone, down to just 3 now.
I've probably saved them close to 1000 bucks in labor alone. Mostly fairly small jobs.

You could freshen up the brakes for him.....or install a CAI....
Nice gesture.
I know myself, I hate accepting money from friends but if I was costing them money....say for instance by staying over and using their electricity and hot water, I would feel obliged to repay them somehow..
.....or buy him a bottle of his favourite drink.
