After reding this and the other post, I find it hard to believe that FedEx wont deliver the package. The only thing I can think of is either someone stole it and kept it for themselves an let the empty box through or they actually lost it out of the box and dont know where it is and thats why they wont deliver it to you.

Either way it sux because now theres a process to go through for the claim and it could take a while.

Good luck with it!!

UPS just delivered a box to the office Monday that looked like they played football with it. I made sure to open it and inspect the contents before signing anything.

The claims process is lengthy through either of those companies. My boss once had a golf club damaged and it took him a while to get the matter settled. Good Luck.

No packing material what were you thinking?

Packages are stacked and piled upon each other in the tractor trailers as they are sent across the country. I don't car if it'* a feather that I'm sending..it'* getting packed so that I'd be willing to play catch with it and never worry.

Stuff does get damaged in transit and things do happen... taking the proper precautions up front is the only way to assist the package in possibly making it safely.

Out of all the items I've sent to members...including two three center tail lights. Florida, Minnesota and Alaska..... not one single package has shown up where the item was damaged.

I hope you insured it for much more than it was worth so that you can send that money straight to Bugsi and he can get one locally.

I like to go with the USPS. They seem quite fast and no damage to my stuff (knock on wood!)
