Default Favorite Auto Parts Store

I didn't want to hijack my own thread, so which auto parts store do you prefer the best, and why? I hate autozone, the people they hire are so stupid! napa isn't too bad.. their service is much better, and they carry seafoam products, good in my books . Pep boys.. they have a lot more selection than the other stores, however they aren't close enough to me.. and I seldom get there. Advanced auto.. there are two stupid people, but always one smart one, and they always seem to come through, my run around for bubble flared tube ended with a stop into advanced auto.. great in my books.

Most of my parts come from Canadian Tire. Brake lines, water pumps, alternators, air shocks, K&N filter, you name it.

That'* the good thing about owning an older, 3800-powered GM car: parts are plentiful outside the dealer.

My dad owns a repair shop, so I use the parts from wherever he gets em.

But I don't like Autozone. The ones around here have crappy customer service.

Canadian Tire is a combo between pepboys and walmart, 2 stores in one.

Canadian tire is good for everyday stuff but I go to Lordco for the hard to find, Lordco is all over BC.

I think the stores will vary with each area. I like Bumper to Bumper, the guys there are helpful and can be kind of silly at times. The NAPA guys are lazy slobs, that'* the last place I go to. Otherwise there is an AC Delco store I go to if they are open.

I go to autozone because I can throw a rock and hit the store from my house, If I want a slightly better part I go 100ft down the road to advance auto. If I still don't like what I'm finding I go a mile farther down the same road to Bumper to Bumper. In the rare event I still can't find what I want I go 14 miles across to the other side of town to NAPA.
