That is pretty neat. I didn't know those had internet access. WiFi is it?

I bought my wife a regular DS a couple of years ago and thought that was the ****. Now they have cameras and internet. That'* insane

Yes, it has WiFi built in. The previous version of DS has WiFi, but no internet. This one has it'* own explorer built in.

What'* the purpose of the WiFi on the first DS? Is it essentially a modern "cable" to connect a few of them, like the old Gameboys?

Exactly. I'm sure Nintendo caught a lot of flack for building a system that had WiFi, but no ability for cruising the net. Heck, even cell phones back then could surf the net.

Too bad this is my sons, I'd travel all over town jumping on hot spots and causing trouble.
