Default Exhaust leak......

Can an exhaust leak greatly affect performance? I find the car is lacking the balls lately. Im starting to wonder about when I removed the MAF screen.......

An exhaust leak shouldn't cause much of a loss of horsepower but maybe a couple because it'* disrupting the flow in the system. Most likly cause would be the MAF. I've read of cases where descreening the MAF causing a lean condition. As a matter of fact with the exchaust I'm running some people recommend removing the screen to reduce the popping in the exhaust at start up when the car is running richer.

Go to the dealer for the screen. Or a wrecker. It should only be removed with an aftermarket intake installed....with smooth walls.
