Default Jim W knows his stuff...

EDIT: NOTE: I don't know what the eff happened to my pics...they are screwed up hardcore.

Well, what to eat for lunch today. I remember saying in another thread that I would try something Jim W mentioned in Haro'* thread. Here'* the thread

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...=514490#514490

Here is my experience with "Salsa Mac."

I took my Mac and Cheese and cooked it like normal, poured it in a large bowl, and put half a jar of salsa in it and stirred it up. Put it in two small caserole dishes, covered the top with shredded cheese and threw it in the oven for 5-10 minutes at 300*. Pulled it out...and this is what I got.

Looks fairly promising. I mixed myself up some powerade and I had myself a meal.

100_1198.jpg

So I dug in. First impression....not bad. Actually, it was so good, I went for the second bowl.

Oh man, jim was right when he said "eat like a king."

Then I got here.

100_1200.jpg

I couldn't take it anymore. My stomach felt really upset. I had to stop. I don't know what did it...all the cheese maybe, all the salsa maybe....what ev, this stuff is the sh*t.

Not only that, clean up is a snap.

100_1202.jpg

All the other dishes go in the dish washer.

My only suggestion for next time, use better salsa. Here is the stuff I used.

100_1201.jpg

It has corn and beans in it. Not only that, it is really chunky. I'm thinking a thinner salsa would be better, it would create a smoother texture.

Anywho...anyone else do this?

Sounded good in the original thread.

Looks, however, like someone puked in a bowl.

Like your stomach knows the difference...it looks great!

Glad you enjoyed it Logan, next time try some lighter weight salsa, like nacho salsa, might be easier.

I remember overhearing a convo recently in which ... it was suggested that Logan and PJ are the same person.

That might explain this lightweights inability to eat food.

Yea...I'll admit that they are both pretty incognito as well.

/Captain Obvious

Oh Logan, next time...layer the salsa instead of mixing it in....should be easier to eat as well.
