Default Everyone here, please help do this!

Im asking eveyone to send a Contact inquiry, with me, to GM, asking them to make the Impala LS1 a real car. After years now, I can see they will continue to mod the 3.8L, and never offer affordable real horsepower, like this

http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...03GMH_homerun/

Please, heres the link, send them an inquiry it takes 2 seconds. If enough of us do it, they will see the demand!

The L67 isn't real HP? It puts out almost exactly the same power as the Lt1 in the old Impala SS. The only difference is the torque management.

It has upgraded internals.

NOW stop complaining and please just do it!

No, the l67 is sad in comparison to the LS1. How the hell can you compare 6.5s 0-60 stock compared to 5.2-.5.3? No you cant, please just do it. Thank you

Franklly a LS1 Impala won't happen, and I certainly don't demand it. No one is going to pay good money for an Impala SS FWD car, with and LS1. If they want LS1, they'll get a GTO. There would only be an automatic, and it would last you to get it home for the first wash.

I was referring to the 90'* Imp SS as well, the Lt1, 260 HP 330 Lb/ft. Series III L67 is 260 HP and 330lb/ft managed down to 280 by the PCM.

wont happen, but if they made it rear wheel drive, and got enough down payments from law inforcment you could see an ls1 in there..

The W body chassis can't handle a big V8. It would be a nightmare even if they COULD pull it off. Even the 4T80 trans wouldn't be up to the task for an LS1, and that'* the best FWD offering for a transaxle that GM has.

The specs on the L67 are well known. Those numbers are good, and alot here have more tq than that, myself included.

Or imagine the torque steering problems, and wonder how long it would take to tweak the subframe of a W body.

How the hell would you launch that thing? You wouldn't be able to afford the rubber that would be good enough, even if the trans held up.

Geez....can you imagine trying to replace spark plugs on an LS1 crammed into that tiny bay? I remember all too well how much of a bitch it was to change plugs on my 88 camaro (the 98 Z was a bit easier), and I wouldn't want to do it on that car, even if it were possible. You'd need a lift to get to the rear plugs. I'm betting firewall and strut tower modifications, too.
