You guys just don't get it. People buy a bonneville, find this place, but eventually everyone moves on, especially when they discontinue the model everyone is passionate about. I don't own a bonneville anymore, but why should that mean I shouldn't be here? This club is still 100% bonneville and if you don't believe it you need to get out of the lounge for 2 minutes.

These things could happen to any car. Just becuase they havne't happened to any of your GM cars doesn't mean GM cars don't have these problems at all.

What year was the F250? If it'* having engine problems you can't blame ford...The powerstrokes are made by International. The 7.3 powerstroke was a good motor, the 6.0L is a piece of ****.

Duramax is the best diesel out there by far, though

You guys know that if you go on any ford forum they'd be talking about how the same thing, except about GMs, right?

I agree with Ben 100% I still think the Bonneville is a great car. I loved mine and my moms '00 ssei is a fun car to drive. I have moved on, but I plan on posting when I have something relative to say or can help out another member. hope that is alright with everyone.

*edit* and GM cars can have many problems, my '98 sse blewup at 82000 mi with zero warning. I still loved it though which is why I replaced the motor instead of scrapping the car

I wouldn't buy ANY Ford that had a gas motor in it, they're piles of garbage, and feel gutless and worthless over say a GM or Dodge gas motor....

BUT.....The powerstroke, 7.3 or 6.0, would be the FIRST Diesel truck I'd consider before the others......Then would come Dodge'* Cummin'*, then the Duramax....

Just my $.02

Dude I dont know just what popatims intentions or feelings were in posting this but we all responded tounge in cheek. I am good at flaming and making it sound sincere. As an example i read a "exhaust thread" that read like a daisy chain fraternity get together with 2 pages of indentical responses . So I posted "put some dam thrushes or "bombs" on it and be a man. Dont you want real performance?" and so on and so on. "As soon as my GXP OEM'* rust off, I'am going with bombs one size bigger than my present diameter"...The guy fell over himself bowing out of my suggestion and I chuckled....Now do you really think I would put $30 straight thru'* on a car I 've spent over 50 grand on. (Already got the Corsa'* picked out.) They were on the concept GXP but didnt make it to production.
