We're charged way more for bottled water that everybody buys and chugs down with no abandon. Or $2+ for a 12oz coffee. With how much I drive, it'* like my car is slurping a coffee in the morning, another at lunch, and a few bottled waters every day.

You guys best not be complaining driving cars with 3800s I will slap you all.
$5 will be my limit with the truck. I average between 16-20 but still, it'll be time to park it for everything but necessary...and I'm either bringin the bonne down, or getting something DAMN efficient.

By the end of summer, I'll have the Shadow done, and I'll be getting 30mpg, in a quicker car than the PA. The Buick will be my weekend and long trip car...

Yeah, it'* all relative. Everytime I fill up, I look at the extra money I'm using and say, damn, I could have used that to buy a pop if the prices were what they were two weeks ago...

The cost of gas now is one of the reasons that I don't get a "better" job - my drive time would nearly double to an hour to find decent work around here. It'* just not worth it. I'd consider taking a cut in pay just to find a job in my little town...
