Default Anyone got ALLDATA?

I'd like info on a TSB on a co-worker'* 2000 Volvo S40, related to the drive-by-wire throttle; TSB # is:

2250023 JUL 01

Anyone got ALLDATA (or know of another way to obtain this info?)

Thanks

Can you be more specific since I'm not sure what is meant by drive-by-wire?

Drive by wire means the throttle is not connected to the gas pedal by a mechanical cable, but rather a transmitter/sender arrangement.

Apparently there'* some issue with the 2000+ Volvos that the TB plate is sticking due to a malfunction in the receiver unit on the TB, and the car idles erratically. It'* unclear whether this is some kind of covered thing, but the dealer is giving her the run-around, and I'm trying to arm her with info.

I looked at Mitchell for the S40 and didn't find the TSB but I did a search and found this:

Doesn't look like it'* specifically for the S40 but you know how that goes...

Yeah, fuggedaboutit...

Further research has uncovered that the s40 is not covered by Ford-vo'* secret warranty because it doesn't have the right (wrong?) type of TB.

In addition, she allowed the dealership to jerk her around just long enough to go over 70k miles, so now any TB work is not even covered by the California emissions warranty (even though I told her 3 months ago to get this resolved before that coverage was up).

Ah well, some folks just don't listen.

The dealership screwed themselves though, because she WAS considering trading in for a brand new XC70 from them, but not now!

(Now she'* asking me what new vehicle I'd recommend...hmm...)
