Default More Computer woe'*

I think some of my registry got messed of. For example, if I try to open the "folder options" in control pannel.. it tells me this is not a win32 appication. It does this in some other places, and acts a little weird. Is there a free scan or something that can correct Windows errors. I don't have my windows install disk with me.
