Diss my TI84+ if you must :P . Actually there'* a specific reason I picked this one and that is because the keystrokes are exactly the same as the TI83, which is a standard so there will be plenty of people out there to help me out, instead of do what they do now-suggest reading the manual (I have a Casio, awesome calculator if you want to program it...all around good too).

I buy items that I feel that I can get a decent deal on using eBay and for some no longer minted coins.
I know Pioneer speakers are not well regarded on this board but I needed speakers for my 91 Sonoma and last night I picked up a set of Pioneer TS-A4103 and a set of Pioneer TS-A4670R for $38.63 which includes the shipping. We will see this week if I received a good deal or 2 pair of lousy speakers.
Next up I am hunting for a bargain on a MyFi receiver.

I usually go on ebay when I am bored and see if anything is interesting to me. I have picked up 2- PS1 systems, most recently bought some equipment for Kart Racing for a pretty good deal, I also bought a wireless mini video camera wich I am still waiting for, that I plan to use for Kart racing to be able to make some videos for the club ( mount it on different karts from different classes).
I hope it works great so I can at least get one lap in on video so I can study it after and learn the track that much better, but of course I won't tell them at the track that is the reason I am using it, lol.

buy random things like touch screens, RC engines, and other electronics. I sell big junk like uninteruptable power supplies and stuff that my dad gets down at his shop for cheap or nothin. Im making a killing doing that too!
