Default Apple guys out there?

Is there any Apple diehard fans out there? Anyways I just had to service men come to my house to fix a drive bay problem and they had no idea what they were doing. They replaced the logic board and didnt even calbrate the computer so My fans are all maxxed out on my Dual 2.7 G5 which has like 9 of them (sounds like a airplane in my room) Well anyways applecare called me yesturdar and is sending me a Dual 3.0ghz Dual core MAc Pro to replace my 2 and half year old computer. NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Once you go Mac you never go back!

I had one problem with apple and that was the drive bay was not working properly. 2 different service men said that they dont get many calls maybe once very 2 months becuase they siad the machines are very reliable. These guys do all their business in phoenix and San Diego they had to drive 2 and half hours to get to my house for the repair. Macs are great and their customer service is the best out there.

Were the service guys Mac specialists? I bet you're THRILLED with the new computer!

I had my PowerBook G4 serviced through the Applecare Protection Plan. It was covered for another 7 months. The HD went on it. It was shipped back to me, in my hands, 5 days after I shipped it out. Their service is great, and the tech guys on the phone speak English.

My next computer will hopefully be the new MacPro. I like having a laptop, but a desktop with a large display excites me more. Right now my Dual 2GHz G5 acts as slow as my G4 laptop sometimes.

yeah, I'm on my iBook G4 right now. Its not the fastest thing on the planet, but its ok until I get my regular laptop back.

I don't mind Macs all that much, the only thing I don't like is their limited available program array. Sure they come with a buncha stuff, but you can't really GET a whole lotta stuff for em either. I have about 100 different programs on my Laptop PC and probably use them all throughout the week. I just can't do that with a mac.

Thats true about the programs, but the Mac Pros can run windows now and all windows programs work too. I use my computer for graphics, photography and videography and its so much better for that situation. I have right now a 2.7ghz 4.5gb RAM with 23 apple display (about to get another) the thing that is going to hurt me is buying the RAM for the 3.0 about $700 to get it to were my G5 is. But its worth it.

Anyways Bonnie94 no they were not specialists they havent had any training on them. Because there is no Apple stores around they sent me them. They are a 3rd party company and really only work on PCs

I used to have a Haro until it got stolen =/ I loved that bike I use to race it and everything. Do you race?

Yea about the laptops, they are great. The next generation of MacBook Pros I will gettting one. I need one to keep the business rolling (Thats what I tell my Fiance)

One thing I also like when I am on the phone with them is, when they say a tech will be with you in 2mins THEY MEAN IT! You dont wait any longer than that. Again that is what I call customer service, and I will be with them the rest of my life becuase of it. Why can't we get service like that everywhere? haha
