Default Little Cars?

Just wondering if anyone else on here builds plastic scale model cars?

I've been building models off and on for most of my life. I stopped building in 2001 when my daughter was born, but I started back up a couple years ago.

Here'* a few that I've built in the last couple years.

'72 Grand Prix,

'69 Camaro,

'78 Monte Carlo,

'87 Monte Carlo LS,

'94 Toyota Supra,

'06 Mustang,

Here'* a link to pics of the rest of my model cars,

BTW, these are all 1/24 or 1/25 scale plastic models.

Did you paint those yourself? I collect 1:18 scale cars myself.

The paint is amazing on all of them. The only problem with doing metallic on model cars is the size of the flake isn't proportional to the rest of the car. They should make a special model car metallic.

That'* what I use, The sunlight and the pics kind of exaggerate the metalflake a bit, but it'* still a little out of scale.

Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words guys!

I go to about 3 or 4 contests a year. I've won a few awards. I still have yet to win a 1st place trophy for my models, usually 2nd or 3rd.

I do alot of detailing with paint and foil, but most of the guys at the shows go all out and add every single wire and hose in the engine compartment and chassis.
