Default DSM Guru'* HELP!

My friend has a '91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD, and within the last two months has had a new head gasket and a bunch of top-end work done. Two days ago, his t-stat stuck, started to overheat of course, so he pulled it so he could get it home. Just before he got home, he hit boost and it started missing. When he pulled over, it was spraying coolant from around the intake mani., when he got it home, popped the hood and there was a good amount of oil sprayed on the left side of the engine compartment and trans. The car ran HORRIBLE, had a dead missfire in one cylinder. Pulled the plugs, they were fine, no oil or coolant, gaps were fine. Drained the oil out, no coolant there either.
Took the intake mani. off today, intake gasket is good, actually pretty much brand new still. Found no broken lines or anything out of the ordinary, but can't find where the coolant came from, or the oil for that matter.
We can't figure out what caused it, or how to go about fixing it. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Sounds like the head or gasket might be worth looking at.

That'* what we thought, but it'* literally brand new. He had the head ported and some top-end work done and all new gaskets less than two months ago. That'* the confusing part.

Sounds like the tightening sequence was misread, or torque specs were wrong. There is a possiblilty of a cracked head if overtightened.

I know one of them likes to over tighten bolts, which bites when you have to take off the intake mani. and it'* a PITA to get to the bottom bolts...
But I know he used a torque wrench and did it properly. So it'* most likely the head gasket?
I did forget to mention that where the coolant sprayed, and the oil sprayed were in two different spots. The oil came out of the left side of the motor, and the coolant came from the back.

whether it was replaced recently or not, if he overheated the motor (stuck t-stat) there is a chance that he could have done damage (warping the head, blow a gasket/line, etc) so just cause it'* new doesn't mean it'* not the culpret.

Also check the lines to the turbo if it is an Oil or water cooled turbo (thinking oil) That could be the cause of the oil issue.

And it is a DSM, so you have to love it to want to keep loving it.

^^^VERY true.....
He told me he didn't let it get hot, he says he killed it when the needle started going up, which if the gauge is wrong, who knows.
And we checked everything over, no broken lines, no blown gaskets, no noticable leaks, nothing. I'm really thinking head gasket, I was just getting a second opinion. Thanks everyone, we'll look at it again tomorro, if time permits, the head will come off, and we'll know for sure.
