This.

The Plymouth logo from the front of my hood:

What, might you ask, did I hit?

Oops.

Somebody about 4 cars ahead slammed on his brakes. Everybody in front of me either had ABS or a clear spot in which to pull out of the way. No such luck for me...it was either a bus, a semi, or a 2003 Jaguar. I picked the one least likely to kill me. I was only going about 15mph by the time I hit him.

He was really cool about it. He made sure I was okay, made sure I had a ride home, and offered to let me sit in his car to warm up while we waited for the police.

Fixed Neon:

A week or so later, after I'd missed two days of work due to bronchitis, it blew its head gasket just after turning over 170,000 miles. I'm now the proud owner of a Lumina. The Neon will be fixed (again) and become my husband'* daily driver.

I'm sure! I was always really careful while driving that car because I know full well that you're toast if you hit something at too high of a speed. I also put my seatbelt on every time I get in a vehicle...

Was the driver of the Neon who hit you okay?

My neon got totalled when it was hit by a big ol' F150 4x4 that pulled out of a parking lot into the side of my car. Glad you weren't hurt!!! I hate those neons!!!
