F*CK EBAY!!!!
GAWD!!!!! Had my Magnaflow up on e-bay and the auction ended last night with a high bid of $86 by silk*04 (from Florida).
One hour after the auction ends I get this e-mail from ebay:
Dear beluckiest,
The results of the following listings have been cancelled due to bidding activity that took place without the account owner'* authorization:
110109183818 Magnaflow Muffler 12267 Camaro Firebird Trans Am Z28 3"
We have temporarily suspended the bidding account and we are working with the account owner to prevent any additional unauthorized activity. Since the account owner did not initiate these bids, fees resulting from the listings in question have been credited to your account.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to automatically relist these items for you. Instead, to relist these items you will need to start from the beginning of the listing process, either through the "Sell Your Item" process or through your third party listing service. We know that this is an inconvenience and we apologize for the negative impact it may cause you. We are working on tools to allow you to relist your items without starting from the beginning, but they are not available at this time.
Do not respond to this email, as your reply will not be received. If there are issues that have not been addressed by this message, you can contact us by clicking the "Help" link located at the top of most eBay pages and selecting "Contact Us" from the menu on the left hand side of the page.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Regards,
eBay Trust & Safety
I had already gotten the 'SOLD' email ebay, so I had the high bidders e-mail address and contacted them to tell them I'd sell it outside of ebay, minus the e-bay fees so they could save a few $. Never got a reply.
So after spending almost 30 minutes making the listing up, I got F'd.
HELL, I can't even look up the bid history to offer to the second high bidder, let alone even relist.... the listing has been completely deleted so I have to start from scratch on the description again....... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had spent a good 15-20 minutes typing the listing (ok, thinking and typing, correcting, word order, etc....).
I am really pissed.. I am considering telling ebay to give me a free listing with no final value fees.

cant you go into your history and load one of the pages? wouldnt it still be store on your ocmputer, even if in temporary internet files?
or would that be more work than coming up with a new decription?
