Default Very Bad day...............

I was on the phone with my wife this morning at my 9am break.....
She noticed that out dog was not in the garage with her....and went to
yell for her and saw a car backing up....

Unfortunately our 9 month old Mini Schnauzer is no longer with us

Worse part is my wife and I had to wait for the school bus to come home
to tell out 4 young children.

Im a mess............I didn't realize how attached I had gotten to that flea bag.

and my wife had to go to work for 4pm....and she just called and is a mess sitting in the parking lot.
this sucks...

Man that really sucks. Life just isn't fair sometimes. That'* too bad.

Loosing a pet is never fun. Stay strong for your kid'* sake. They'll need the support. It'* amazing how much it can tear them apart, too.

sorry to hear that. its amazing how an animal can become such a major part of our lives and when you lose them it can be just like losing a family member. everything seems to stop and seems like there is an empty space in your home. just try to spend more time with the kids because they need you to fill that empty space. im very sorry about your loss.

That REALLY sucks,man!!!!!!!!!!

I know how hard it is to lose a pet too. I lost my cat several years ago after having him for almost 8 yrs. He was my biggest comfort after my ex left me. Sure I could have gone ahead and have him put down when he got sick but,I knew I had to try to do what I could to save him.

Brought him home from the animal hospital and placed him in a box curled up in his favorite towel with his fave cat toy,a bag of catnip and a pic of us together. Buried him in the yard in front of my house right under the window that he used to lay in all of the time.

It will take time to get over the loss of your pet but,it will happen and when it does remember to open your heart and rescue a loving pet from an animal shelter. Remember, what someone thought was just another useless animal can become a loved family member!!

Amen to that! Words eloquently spoken. I am sorry you lost your pet. I know our dog pretty much is boss at our house. But he is such a joy. We got him at the Animal Shelter after our other pet was run over in front of my son.

So sorry to hear about that, losing a pet is a terrible thing
Trust me, when my cat goes, it will be hard too, we've had him for 20 years.

Losing a pet is one of the hardest things. i cry more when i lose a pet then when i lose a member of the family.

A pet is never to judge you, always there to help. A pet is never there to hurt you, only there to care. A pet is never there to bother you, only when its hungry. But most of all a pet is there as a friend and a member of any family. With a personality all its own, its closer to you then you even realize.

Ive lost two dogs. Both were raised with me for 5+ years. It really tears you up.My regards go out to you and your family, and i hope everthing is well from now on.

man, Sorry to hear that. I remember when my Wifes beloved old Manx cat died a couple of years ago. I cant stand cats and she couldnt stand me, we kept our distance, but I immediately missed her when she died. She was special. We took her to a pet cemetary and the kids got to visit her grave till they got over it. They did remind me the other day that they want to go out there again soon.

my cat Bandit died in 2000 the week before xmas...he was 19 years olds...it really hurt us....miss him.. he would always go to people that didn't like cats and they would leave liking him..it is weird how much you get attached to the critters. My mom hasn't really recovered from her cat Smokey dying in 2002. I hope you and your family can heal..and if you get another pet in the future..that your kids feel even more love for it. It'll show it back. They always do.
