So I was poking around today in the 92-99 forum and thought I would see what the oldest post was. Says it was in the 60'*? This must not be true especially since the people would have had to post these threads before they were even members.

1969, and you're right, it'* off. There was a server error a few years back that screwed up a lot of post dates.

Even without the date issue, it'* still older than most forums, and "healthier."

lol. I was born in August of 1990.

It was around before that, but not in it'* current form. I was selling access to FidoNet back in the mid 80s. If memory serves, ArpNet was the network that became Internet. I had also sold access to WWIVnet, And a few others, but I dont remember anymore. So many networks, only one made it.

Yeah, it was Arpanet, and several Domain Servers today are still named after that.
