Lash, one thing. not every Kid is like you or me or many of use on this forum. theres a good amount these days they will do harm with that stuff. and sense it has happened in Rochester and in my neighborhood its not like its not happing and they did it for no reason.

But yes theres limits to what they should and shouldn't regulate. but when Kids are using Paint balls for other then what they are meant to be used for its a problem.

and i really dont want my car hit with paint balls. iv seen what they can do to nice paint.

note- I really dont F'ing care. but i just dont like when people flip out over something like this and get made at a store for doing it. They did it for a reason. the Reason is valid in todays world. Did i have a Drink before i was 21, yup. did i shoot * Hand Gun before i was 21. yes.
But i did it responsibly and did not harm anything or anyone.

The Kids will still get this Paint balls. they will just have there friends over 18 or there mom or dad buy them. Or they will just goto another store.

I actually agree with you, Ryan, sort of...kinda...maybe... :?

It'* just that it'* truly impossible to regulate responsibility, so industry or legislature does what they feel is the next best thing and attempt to move that responsibility up the age chain. It would be hard for me to truly complain or judge against the choice to do this when I'm so torn on the concept myself.

However, the baseball bat argument above does have merit in my eyes.

I dont know I am on the fence with this one. I have heard storys and seen paintball guns miss-used by people much older than 18 so I dont know. I dont think age has anything to do with it. Some people are responsible and some are not no matter what the age.

ive been playing paintball since about age 10 and i'm now 18, just sold my last gun i will probably ever own....i havent done anything really irrisponsible with them accept accidentally step on them in my bedroom and leave yellow streaks in the carpet...im also on the fence with this one...i think there should be an 18 year old age limit in stores, but most paintball parks require you to buy the paint from them in order to play so i think in the controlled area such as a paintball park there should be no age limit, there are 9 and 10 year olds in the parks lighting up 30 year old ex marines...i think it is a very good way to tone down some hyper kids blow off stress and make some friends...but for the kids shootin houses and cars i frown on them for being so dumb, they ruin it for everyone

i am against it. I think the age should be 16...when you can drive to the store. I can drive to walmart, dicks, sports authority, kmart, and all of those stores, but yet I cant buy paintballs. I can drive a 3000 pound land yacht, and be 50x more deadly than a paintball. You cant buy paint, some aresol (sp?) products, gas additives, and a few others when your under 18. It really frustrates me. My parents shouldnt have to be with me so I can buy some spray paint or paintballs. Luckly, there is a local huntin store that sells them to minors around here. Oh well, i will be 18 in 4 months.
