Nice "watermark" Trent. I want to give time for Creativity and realize the real world keeps people occupied at times. But I can't go on indefinitely. Since it started May 20, I going to close submissions June 20. That gives all 2 weeks to finish. Rick and I are looking into script that will allow us the rotate headers. So even if you can't meet the contest deadline for the "official" header, I will most likely be using any and all good ones on a rotation from time to time.

Cool! Not really feeling the top silhouette. It'* too vague and blanc looking being white. But I do like the design layout alot. And a big reason I made it a contest. To get some different idea'* "outside the box". If you could replace the blank white top view, I'd say it'* a serious contender. Also needs the "official" fonts. The Bonneville Font is "Good Times" ttf. The other is a seek and find. Several have. I didn't know the font of GMF when we bought the domain.

Thnax. It comes up on page 1, 2, 3 depending on the day. It also holds 2 spots on WikiMedia.

It was a quick run at it for a couple hours tonight. Fonts wouldnt be a problem to change. I was trying to tie in the 60'* era cars with the top view. Here is another I did before the one above....
This was before I caught the "Bonne should be bigger" item. I tried to go with a blueprint feel for the 60'* era here. The I thought the right side was too busy with the logos.

Thats way off base.
Pictures must be real, and sharp. And the Bonneville must be the lead car. In both detail and size. I just don't like silhouettes, artist'* renditions, or "illustrations".
No Copyrighted material, (Logos and or badging cannot be used) The Big Three are actively suing forums for this. And many independent Law Groups are pursuing copyright infringement damages for a "take" on their own. If an emblem/badge shows in a picture, thats ok. If we "lift" one and place it in our header, standalone, thats not ok.
I like the old school Pontiacs and other GM products as much as anyone. I grew up with them, but they don't represent much of our traffic or members. Less than 1/2 of 1%. We really need current models that attract the most people. With only 100x600 to allot, things like that are important. The cars should represent what is here, and what we can provide the most info about.
