so, is 12-21-12 doomsday or not?

Mayan calendars end on 2012 (more accurate than our current calendar, but end on winter solstice 2012, predicted the arrival of Cortez down to the day, called the center of the galaxy "the black hole" and earth/sun/center of the galaxy will align).
the internet prophetics [webbots which some give credit for forseeing the future] predicts something like nuclear war around 2010, reaching its peak in 2012.
Apollo prophets, predicted fire and earthquakes to the point of apocolypse shortly after 2000. (keep in mind, theyre credited with prophesying Constantine by name and his achievements, and is given credit for predicting the arrival of Jesus).

I think its all a load...

physicists predict a "Pole Shift", shifting the north and south pole after the galactic alignment. Eistein suggested that exact same thing (the HAB Theory deals with the consequnces if that were to happen), but the results would be catastrophic.

the chinese ijing hexagram changes mapped onto a graph of history end on December 21st, 2012 (seems to correspond with highs and lows of history, credited with predicting the rise and fall of roman empire, ww1, ww2)

"merlin" allegedly prophesied distaster in great britain, followed by death of 20000 in london, and then "the planets will run riot" (like would happen if the "pole shift" occurred) ("merlin" allegedly predicted the first american colony by name, **** holocaust, the telephone)

this show goes on and on, but im tired of typing it. but im sure most of this stuff [aside from the mayan calendar], was used to say the world was going to end at 2000 too.
my thoughts: someones always predicting doomsday.

Pole shifts have happened before, in a matter of a few years or even days, according to geological record.

Here is the beauty of it all...if it happens, it won't happen to just one person. Or one million. It will happen to almost everyone (notice I said "almost").

i would think all of these people are sniffing something that'* not legal.

I would call all the others ( accurate predictions) very lucky and a coindence.

kinda funny youd say that. the prevailing theory regarding the delphic oracles is that that is exactly what they were doing. those caves where they did their "prophesying" were caves filled with fumes [similar to the fumes inhaled through glue-sniffing]

Yes, that'* how ancient Greeks got their "propects", they would set a virgin over some crack of the volanco and the woman would babble and the priest would interpret it for the people who want to know what will be happening.

Pole shifting, IMO, are nothing major, it'* just a reversal of the magnetic fields, it wiped nothing out and will throw compasses for a loop.

if its just magnetic shifting, sure.

but if its geological shifting? it is possible, and thats what i mean when i say ive become more interested in pole shifts.
