I believe this has something to do with the 21 year old secretary. 3 calls into UPS and a meeting with the Union leader later and he'* finally delivering them to the shipping dock but looking for any excuse to get us in trouble. Cited us for a safety violation because one of the cars was parked to close to the dock making the alley too narrow... funny the other 3 fedex/ups trucks have no problem, neither did the SEMI that came through earlier.
Wow that sucks. The company policy at my work is all delivery trucks that are not flat beds (like lumber, drywall, etc) HAS to use the dock or we don't unload and sign. One of the semis for windows took 20 min getting into dock AND he had a 2nd person with him guiding him in. Both main docks were empty and there was absolutely nothing in front of the dock which has about 200 feet of open concrete space.
