Default CONSUMER REPROTS ITS BULLSHI!

why......this magazine is said to be neutral, i do not look at this publication often, but when i do it gets my blood boiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST READ their "best cars of 2005" what a crock of crap.......... its all jap cars not a single one from the big three or two, however you look at it......the mitsubishi endevor made it on there and that stupid scion XB, ugly looking shi@ box. this mag, claims to be unbiased, not when it comes to cars, im suprised they would even look at american car.......let alone get in one and drive it.....the bonneville gets horrible ratings and overall of one half white and black......whatever the fuc$ those stupid circles mean....... in the description of the car, which is a worthless 8 lines, it says "the bonneville has a supple ride overall" but then in the rating margin, it states that is has a marginal ride. Then the poor car gets down graded for the vents were a chore to work with........WTF give me a break what a bunch of nit picky crap... then in the reliblitay section.....guess whos at the top...........SCION, HTF did those shi%boxes make it there they were just realsed!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont care what anyone says about reliablilty Buick is still #1 above the all to presious Lexass, and Yota, and Honda, i mean they had the stupid Hyndai above Buick Pontiac and Caddy, pleaseeeeeee someone shoot me before an overwhelming majority of the country is brainwashed by a bunch of fictional marketing and auto enthusiast magazines who have rice for blood,

It'* really no surprise there. The interior of the last generation bonneville feels cheap inside compared to many other cars within the same price range. we're all biased because we own and love Bonneville'* but they were pretty outdated and not worth their sticker price compared to the competition.

I actually like how CP rates vehicles. We need to face it, the Japs are winning over the American made counterparts. Plain and simple.

I feel your pain, but you gotta calm down a bit.

It is very true that Japanese cars do have less problems.

i kno that consumer reports is biased, but that doesnt mean the bonneville SHOULD be at number 1, its a great car but by no means perfect and im sure there are better cars out there within the price range, scion getting highest reliability is just bullshit tho, toyota probly paid them off to get higher sales for the scions

Last time I checked, Toyota/Lexus/Scion reliablity is among the best in the business. ALL their offerings are consistently rated well. I can't say the same for Buick.

Last time I checked, Scion = Toyota. The xB and xA share a chassis/engine with the Toyota Echo. The tC shares stuff with the Euro/Japanese market Toyota Avensis and uses the Camry'* four-cylinder motor.

Last time I checked, the current Bonneville still has a Sunfire-grade interior.

Last time I checked, it was overpriced, too.

Last time I checked, interior ergonomics are one of the factors in buying a car. Buyers want to know this stuff, believe it or not.

Last time I checked, styling is subjective: The public seems to like the Scion xB, they're selling quite well. The Pontiac Aztek wasn't so fortunate. The 2000+ Bonneville'* styling didn't get the warmest reception, either...

Last time I checked, Korean marques' quality has vastly improved over the years. I'd be willing to say they equal - if not excel over American quality.

Last time I checked, American cars still tend to have dodgy build quality in some areas.

Consumer Reports is said to be neutral. Obviously, Nicky, you're not

Disclaimer: This message is in no way intended to be a flame of any sort.

Whether or not Toyota paid them off, the fact of their reliability isn't bullshit (Three characters: 22R). I don't think it'* appropriate to write them off as pieces of crap either based upon looks, either, you don't see me calling the 2000-2003 Bonneville (non-GXP type) a "piece of crap", do you? Me not caring for the styling is all. There'* no other factor that I can think of that explains why Scion is being referred to this way
