Default CTS video

Here'* a video of the CTS from 0-70 MPH. It'* a tad bit under 7 seconds it looks like. It'* hard to tell for me though because I don't have a stop watch. I know the speedometer says 5 MPH, but I actually wasn't going that fast. I was barely rolling at maybe 1 MPH. The gauge jumps right up to the 5 MPH line at anything more than a dead stop pretty much.

EDIT:
I forgot to have the car in sport mode. In sport mode the transmission would shift through the gears a little faster and timing is increased for better performance. The reason why the car won't spin the tires is because this car is fly-by-wire. It won't let you do it. :(

My car is drive by wire and i can get plenty of tire smoke Granted ESP needs to be off, but i can pretty much get 'em loose in 1st gear in the boost whenever.

As easy as it is to launch, i still wish I had an 07 with launch control though

Yeah BMW polices everything to keep the car under control which means no spinning tires even with dtc and dsc off.

Btw do another video with sport mode on

Sounds and looks great.

Also gotta love that RWD and how it puts the power to the ground! It might be that too, not necessarily drive by wire.
