Official 2004 NHL Playoffs Thread
Its that time of year again. So heeeeere we go. I will be keeping track off all matchups in this years 2004 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Similar format to last year
Matchups - Round One (Best 4 of 7)
Eastern Conference
1st Tampa Bay Lightning vs 8th New York Islanders
2nd Boston Bruins vs 7th Montreal Canadiens
3rd Philadelphia Flyers vs 6th New Jersey Devils
4th Toronto Maple Leafs vs 5th Ottawa Senators
Western Conference
1st Detroit Red Wings vs. 8th Nashville Predators
2nd San Jose Sharks vs. 7th St. Louis Blues
3rd Vancouver Canucks vs. 6th Calgary Flames
4th Colorado Avalanche vs. 5th Dallas Stars
Tonights Matchups
Montreal at Boston
Nashville at Detroit
Calgary at Vancouver
Dallas at Colorado
*This year features only 2 goaltenders with extensive playoff experience, Belfor (TOR) and Brodeur (NJD) have been Cup winners and are season playoff goalies, Raycroft (BOS), Aiebescher (COL) and the like have much to prove and may make the difference.
Puck drops with MON and BOS at 7pm EST

Not cheering for the home town Leafs Jim? I wouldnt either, a bunch of goons on that team. Still the Leafs-Sens should a good series to watch, refs will probably call a tight game.
