Default A Crime

I believe that inheriting millions of dollars when ya haven't worked very hard in you're life is a crime. Almost like theft. What do you think? I think the money you earn should be determained by how hard you work.

Lenin would agree.

Doesn't the one who leaves it have a say in the matter?

I don't think it'* a crime. That'* family money (most of the time) being passed down through the generations. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Sure, for most people in that situation I doesn't teach them a thing about the value of a buck nore the work that goes into earning it, might seem unfair to the average lumpa that works his whole life to keep his head above water, but is it a crime? no.

Plain and simple, life ain't fair, as proven by people who inherit money, people who get stricken with cancer, or whatever else may happen.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Anyway, most likely it was hard earned and saved and put away by someone who DID work hard for it, even if it was a generation or two ago. It would be unfair to those hard workers to deny them their right to pass it along to their decendants.

As they say, money can't buy happiness anyway. The best things in life really are free.

I'll have to agree with that. If the goal of your life is to get rich so you can have anything your heart desires, you'll find your heart just desires more and more junk. You might think this idea is cliche..... it is. Throughout history it has been proven time and time again that money doesn't "quench your thirst." If you want to know what happiness is all about, head to a church next Sunday morning.
