Loook at the beauty i found... Park Ave
And thinking of buying... 99 Park Ave, well takin care of, 14xxxx miles i believe, rebuilt trans & new engine over the last 5 years.. Pretty decent on the inside, and sitting on a set of chrome buick lucerne rims.... Looks nice! Just debating on if i should, or pay to have my trans rebuilt... Hard choice kinda...

Looks like a good PA, black tinted, rims etc, but I'm wondering, how much is your trans rebuild over the new car?

Prices are pretty close, Transmission shop says $2600 for the rebuild... And the car is $3000.
Thing is ive replaced head gaskets and lots of ither things under the hood, almost entire suspension system, exhaust ect... Makes it difficult choice.. Mine looks pretty nice all cleaned up..

Ya that is a tough choice. Since you have done all the work, including suspension etc, why not just go with the trans rebuild on yours.
You know your car better anyways and when you buy someone Else'*, you never know what is needed or what may break LOL.

Well if you room, after a transmission repair, you could possibly sell yours for what the trans is worth or more.
In the meantime, buy the other one, then you have two for a while!
I am just glad the black beauty is not in my neighborhood.
I would have two Pk Ave'* quickly!

If you could get that black 99 Park Avenue on a rack and get underneath it to check for rust and suspension issues it might make your decision much easier.

How many miles on yours? And what causes the ride of your car to be inferior to this one?
Admittedly, 140k miles isn't much for these cars, even with new engine and tranny, but the rest of the bits won't roll forever either. You could also get the black one, and use yours as a parts car.

I think im just gonna try buy a manual, and buy a reman trans and install it in mine... My miles are knocking on 190xxx, i took a pass on it.. I realize i havr to much invested ive changed headgaskets and everything.. Had it been supercharged it might have made my decision quite easy lol...
