phobia about car problems.
SO, aside the good ol 3800 intake issues we all know and love, do you have anything that on every car you own, you worry about it messing up?
For me, I worry about the transmission in every car I own. I suppose cause I worked at AAMCO years ago and I know just how bad they can jack up.
Even in my car with the 4T65E, I always worry every time i feel a shift or if it makes any strange noise or jerk.
I have had plenty of brake problems in most every car i have owned. Broken lines, destroyed rotors, broken park brake cables,
But i never worry about those.
What is your car problem phobia? Aside the intake. (I don't even worry about THAT going bad, if it happens it happens.)

Mine is transmission and electronic ignition. Both seem to be common problems for me through the different make. models I've owned. The trannys blame is all mine but I seem to have more than my share of ignition proplems.....unless WOT'* contributed to their failure.

When I fear that something is going to go bad I generally replace it... At this point with 148+K Miles on the 95 I am more worried that the trans will fail over the engine...

My phobia about Big Bertha? Oh dear, it'* mostly the UIM, she'* got 103 thousand miles on her and it'* on her original intake. I would love to replace it but I can't, my 'rents won't let me (their theory is "If it ain't broke, don't mess with it") I freak out about my UIM so much that after every drive, I alway pop open the hood and let it cool and watch the coolant level very very very very very closely. Oh I also worry about the brakes crapping out on me since I speed on the interstate and if you gotta stop on the interstate, it usually means slamming on the brakes.
