:( the video quits on me about 3/4 of the way thru.
Up to that point I'll give the "Tires on LSD" burnout the trophy; too bad the linky no workie for that anymore.

The senseless destruction of the body was idiotic.
Makes me sick.
A burnout is one thing but taking it as far as that with a new Z06.
More money than brains.

He never had to pay for it.

Anyone who buys a GM product has to pay for it.

It'* all factored into the final pricing.

Pure waste

If you read my previous post, the driver of the ZO6 is the GM plant manager, he was given the car to perform the burnout for the purpose of winning the contest. Therfore he didn't actually pay for the damage. I was at Carlisle and witnessed the burnout and that was the rumour amoungst all there in attendance.

Oh yes I understand that but what I meant was that we as buyers of GM products have to pay for that kind of senseless waste....even if it is for publicity.

He could have just used normal tires instead of the run flats and maybe not have done the body damage.

I love watching a good burnout too but hate to see it go that far.

It'* a shame. Why wasn't he given an 87 Escort or something? That would have been great for the burnout and for the destruction!
