Default Anyone know of Bonneville milligauss fields?

Well, I found this useless item:

I was just looking for polarizers and happened to come across this. If these milligauss fields do exist, how on Earth does anyone measure them, and why would I want to care?

I guess this is for some of those people that believe we can get cancer? But really, I've never heard of milligauss fields. My main questions is why someone at all would buy this based on milligauss fields if no one has ever heard of them. And should they happen to exist, how do we measure them? Here'* a far more realistic set of polarizers, by the way:

Hey, I have something that looks similar to that! I'll sell it to you for $40.99 + shipping! I swear it works

Did a search. Milligauss is a measurement of an electromagnetic field. In all honesty, if you're worrying about that crap, you need to leave the planet. We are stuck around wires, electricty, and magnetic fields on this planet. Maybe that'* why we only live an average of 80 years....

In all reality....

I just want to know how to measure milligauss fields to show this thing'*... um... usefulness. I'm not at all going to buy one. In fact, anything that warps normal natural proceedings and does so with the power from a cigarette lighter should be shot down and have its inventor tarred and feathered.

I thought we'd have fun with this. What'* with the negative responses about how I've been suckered in and shouldn't buy it? I'm not that crazy for gadgets! :P

Sorry, that was a vague generalization for anyone considering such an investment. Since you posted it, I figured you knew that thing was a sham. Plus trying to make a buck off someone who thinks they DO work by offering a better deal!

I had a coaster that looked like the end of that thing once. You could spin it and the pretty colored holographic type shapes would change. Maybe that was blocking milligauss too.

Dood, h4x0r! Did you plug it into a 12V power line?

But what if it is built to be a polarizer? It doesn't have to work, but the innards should be there. Just curious if the level of effort put into this is anything measurable.
