History eraser?
I discovered (today) that the company I security guard for decided it'd be a good idea to give us intERnet instead of the evil intRAnet. Question being: Just in case they decide to check up on us, is there a way for me to block the computer from saving a history of where I've been (the profile on here isn't a system admin one...) without downloading anything?

Simple thing to do (and they'll appreciate it) is to ask what their policies or usage guidlines are, then stay within those with a margin of comfort. Do you have logins? Or is it a shared system?

i have also noticed that if you hit Ctrl-H while in the browser, it will bring up the history. from there, i THINK you can just wipe yourself clean. but willwren'* right, if they knew what they were doing and really wanted to get you, the prolly could.

rjolly...thanks, got to it I was just looking for a way to clear the history HERE, since it'd be too easy for them to check it here. I know the server logs all usage, but generally, they're too lazy to check it...like the cameras Only the cameras are MY responsibility, along with seemingly everything else around here
