A good laugh today
Mrs randman1 and I went to Home Depot to pick up a grill this afternoon. There were several others buying grills at the same time. One guy in particular was in line at the check out ahead of us. He was very proudly paying for his new Char Broil and accessories.
We departed the parking lot after securing the grill in the back of my truck and started heading home. As we were on the southbound ramp of the highway we noticed a truck that was pulled over on the northbound ramp. It was none other than the new Char Broil owner that was ahead of us at the check out. Apparently he lost his munutes old cargo as a result of the sharp onramp curve. The thing was in pieces and we lost sight of him as he was throwing the twisted remains of the rolling base in the back of his truck with some veloctiy. The two of us started laughing our asses off.
Definately not the brightest bulb on the tree to not have any tie downs. I think his holiday BBQ is going to suck.

My uncle had a similar experience. About the dumbest thing he'* ever done. He wasn't so worried about the grill, but the brand new truck it scratched up. lol

I laugh at my own dumb ***'d things too....
Like last night at a strip bar I didn't realize that I had been using the ash tray upside down until the drink waitress informed me.....LOL
Sure I didn't spread a big *** grill all over the on ramp.....but....Just as moronic lol.

I lost a pizza kinda that way once...
The Missus and I were both dead tired (back when I did ceramic tile and she built furniture) and hungry, but we had no food in the house. We made the twnty minute run to the grocery store in rush hour, so it was more like 30). Fought our way through the Friday evening crowd at the in-store bank and the store itself. Grabbed one of their cook-it-yourself deli pizzas and some other stuff. Waited at the register for what felt like a month and a half. Got out to the car, loaded up, and left for the battle through traffic home.
Just as I was accellerating to get onto the highway, I saw something kinda flip past the rear window in my mirror, and noticed the car behind me swerve just a little. About then, the time delayed bulb in my brain went off, and I remembered I put the pizza on the roof of the car so it wouldn't get crushed by the other groceries we bought.
We had cereal for dinner that night.....

I drove about 10 blocks, most of those on one of the busiest streets in my town, with a hammer on my roof. Luckily, I realized it and reached up and it was still there, but that could have done some damage.

Now that is funny!! BTW- cereal isn't too bad for dinner.
I wouldn't laugh at the grill guy though, that would make me feel sad for him.
