Default Computer Audio systems

Just out of curiousity, how serious are yous about your computers audio set up. What kinda goodies you got hooked up?

Myself, I have a Yamaha TSS-1 5.1 Home Theatre Sound System. I love it, DTS compliant, with a Yamaha DS-XG sound daughter board.

Im not much into the computer audio systems....all i do is listen to tracks and see wether or not i want to burn them. dont play many games or anything like that, nor watch any movies on here.
but i do have a decent surround sound system in my bedroom, made by Phillips.
how much does a system like yours run for? and what would you need a system like that for on your PC? <-- not meant to be taken on the smartass side, im just curious :P

The TSS-1 was designed for smaller rooms or spaces and for those who wanted home theatre on a smaller scale. For exmaple my computer in my room, well, its more like a tiny apt., no kitchen tho...lol anyway, my comp has a DVD drive, cable TV hook up, DSL internet connection so basically its my home entertainment system. My father works for Yamaha too, so I get in on all the sweet new toys that they come out with. It also amazing for gaming or hookin up to a PS2 or Xbox, the true home theatre gaming thing can't be beat.

When I move out however, I want something more substantial, so I bought a Yamaha DVX-S60

I wanted something simple and sleek to be used in a 900 sq ft space. :P And the price was right

Audio gear eh! My Specialty!!!!!! I Have Monsoon MM-700 speaker system on an Sound Blaster Live. I love how smooth and clear the are, and they go silly loud for computer speakers. They are flat planar speakers and match m flat black LCD very well on my desk, it'* like a stadium of black flat stuff around me. But they are nothing compared to my Real stereo setup.
these small black ones are my computer speakers.

My B&W 602 S3 speakers, running off a denon amp, with a 400 disc megachanger, and on nice wooden sanus speaker stands. I also have a ps2 on it, on my custom audio rack i made myself. Anyone wanna see pix of it in my room? These speakers are only available at high end audiophile stores, nothing at best buy, circuit city, etc compare. Some things at stores like audio king are good, but they also have stuff like Blose (bose). Ok i'll stop ranting for now...[img][/img]

Well, I got a few setups...

My desktop has the 5.1 Soundblaster Platinum but is currently only running with 110 watt Self powered Sony surrond sound speaker system. It pounds TRMENDOUSLY. Afterall, it does have a built in 8in bass sub! :P

The other setup is the stock audio of my IBM 600e laptop. But I use the outputs on it to hook winamp 3 up too Sony 5.1 digital reciever and $2000 worth of Mitsubishi surrond sound speakers. Surround speakers consist of two 8"x12" rears, two 12"x3' front towers, 2'x10"center, and a 12" 150 watt down firing self powered sub box w/ full rear controls. That'* what I use to **** off the neighbors...and it works pretty good too!
