Gas prices dip below $2 a gallon in southern Idaho

11:25 AM MST on Tuesday, November 29, 2005
Associated Press

TWIN FALLS -- Here'* something you may not have seen in a while -- gasoline selling for under $2 a gallon in Idaho.

Gas prices at some Twin Falls stations have dipped below $2 a gallon.

At least two stations in Twin Falls yesterday afternoon were advertising regular unleaded for $1.98 a gallon.

Statewide, Triple-A says Idaho'* average gasoline prices have dropped by about 55 cents in the past month.

The statewide average price yesterday was $2.22 cents, about 20 cents higher than last year at this time.

Idaho'* gas prices are still higher than the national average, which yesterday was $2.15 a gallon.

I was thrilled to fillup this morning...only 2.28 for 91.....yes I put in 91

hopefully it will only cost 30 bucks to fillup soon
