Not me PH, I am still licking my wounds getting a speeding ticket in NW Washington last week. 72 in a 60 on Route 2 in the middle of nowhere. You never warned the board not to speed in WA.

State Patrol. I was driving a van with British Columbia plates and a Alaska driver license and with an Illinois address on it. He didn't ask me a single question- yet he should have. I figure he was just collecting a tax on a foreign plate. Had no intention of driving to WA, but received a call while on vacation in B.C. to get my Azz to FT Lewis. I don't mind the tax, I do mind the points on my license.
BTW- the drive in NW WA in incredible. Had no idea the mix of landscapes....

From what I know and heard of, if you receive a speeding citation or cited for other moving violations from other then your state of resident it should not affect your record/points in your state. Your state is only concerned about any citations you received from within because it was the state that issued you the license after all. Another word, your state could careless about what the other states cited you for unless it was a felony related incident in regard to driving such as a third DUI....no state takes that lightly....in or out of your home state.
But keep in mind, if you don't pay the citation in Michigan, your license or driving previlege there will be revoked and if you are caught there again, you will be arrest right on the spot. If you did or plan on paying, then don't worry about it. The only thing that will probably affect this concern of yours is that in time your insurance premium will increase, if it hadn't already been. Insurance company have access to all-state driving violations and will penalize you by increasing the premium.
