Did anyone watch the Brazil F1 Race?
WOW!
3 drivers going for the World Championship title in the last race of the year. It hasn't happened since 1986!
And the underdog WON!
Way to go Kimi!!!!! (the Iceman is my favorite driver)
It was Hamilton'* race to win/lose.... and he lost it.
Just wondering if anyone else watched it?

Missed it! and I wanted to catch it, I thought for sure goin in Hamilton was gonna take it. Isn't it refreshing to see 3 drivers goin for it, as opposed to the ole' lets-just-end-this-because-we-all-know-Schumacher-is-gonna-win?

I caught parts of it, but I missed where Hamilton blew it in the beginning, watched him try to catch up. There'* a lot of money in that sport, what was up with that $100 million dollar fine against Mclaren?

I watched it. Kimi wasn't the underdog by a long shot. Didn't you notice how both Ferraris ran away from the pack at the start? In the post race interview, Kimi said they were holding back to save the tires and conserve fuel. And Alonso said he was holding pace with them for the first three laps, then when they got warmed up and started pulling away he knew he couldn't catch them.
I believe the best man won. That'* not a knock against Team McLaren or their drivers, I just believe Kimi finally found a team he can win with.
McLaren team members were found to be in possession of Ferrari'* stolen tech manual, which described Ferrari'* aerodynamics, proprietary mechanical specifications, and race strategy plans in great detail. Here is a link to an interview with Max Mosley, president of the FIA, that explains the situation better than anyone else could.

I saw it, or at least most of it, between chores and stuff. It was one of the better F1 races I've seen in a long time. I saw Hamilton get greedy early on, when he didn't have to, and that just started his troubles. I believe a quote from early in the race from Ferrari was, "It is Hamilton'* race to lose." as far as the title went, and that'* exactly how it went.
Good stuff!

Hamilton had a nice charge going, but the tranny put him too far back to contend sadly. Another retirement or two, or a crash infront of him would've made things really interesting however..
I hope FA goes back to Renault and they continue their crash and burn with respects to track speed.
Hamilton will be back with a vengance next year, and he'll be even more cool under pressure, and look at the big picture more IMO.
I really hope FIA get off Ferrari as well, They've still given them too many things, let them get away with things, etc... Traction control being gone next year will make it much more of a race however, great chassis will really shine through, as will drivers.
