<scratching head>....I'm sorry, but that makes no sense to me. She doesn't like this Bonnie because...???? I mean...did a previous girlfriend give it to you? I can see maybe wanting you to get a new bed or something but a car?

Well after 10 years with my fiancé, things like this still come up. Not about the Bonne, oh no, that is HER baby, I never get to drive it anymore. But it is my kart racing, it does take up time, but she doesn't like it cause she finds it too dangerous ( which she is right) I mean we are so close to the ground that the seat actually rubs the ground sometimes, and we are pulling speeds of about 70mph.

This is my first season racing, and may be my last. I may still race a few races next year, but not as intense as this year.

Hey....you don't happen to cross over into NY to race do you? A friend of mine has a track at his house here in Newfane and 12-18 guys come each week to race karts....I don't race, but I love to go watch when I can. Wouldn't it be funny if we knew the same people?

Back on the subject...10 years w/your fiance? talk about taking this *-l-o-w-l-y Good for you though! Better to be sure than to be in divorce court!

No I race locally up here in Northern Ontario.

We were supposed to be married in 2000, but some people( not us) couldn't agree on a few things about OUR wedding, plus we bought a house, so we didn't need the extra aggravation, so we put it off. We then sold the house, moved out of town for a couple years, then moved back a couple years ago, and we are still paying off debts form moving out of town. As long as we are still together that is all that matters, we don't need a 15,000$ piece of paper to tell us anything, ( cost of the wedding).

I got lucky. The one girl I spent time with liked my car a lot. I think she may have even thought it was cute that I washed it every other day. I kept it clean so that when we went out I wasn't driving her around in a dirty car, but I never told her that. I think she just thought I was infatuated with my car.

Girls like the bonny, well, this one did. She always talked about how "high tech" my car was. I think she was impressed that I sorta knew how to work on it. The reason I got lucky though was she loved her jeep about as much as I loved my car. This was no TJ, we are talking 40'* WWII jeep. The look she gave me when she opened the hood to it was priceless when I said it looked "complicated."

Damn...those were good times. Now here I sit thinking about the way things used to be....again.

For the record, we were always "Just Friends." Whatever that is supposed to mean.

when my wife and i first got together she had notta clue about cars. where the gas went and that was it. she started getting into cars just cause i enjoy cars. looking at them or working on them what ever it might be. now she is to the point that she knows what cars are just by looking at them or coming dang close(classics).
but she has always gotten into rpg games computer/ video / card. so i figured out how to play them, not that im any good or even like to do it but.... at least i try!!
