Thumbs down Valentines Day

To anyone in this forum that wishes anyone a Happy Valentines Day...you will be branded, banned, banished and beaten.

We need to start a grass roots movement for a national holiday just for Men....like St. Florian'* Day or ????

Who would you choose as a saint to remember for a national holiday for me?

PH,

I got to quit playing on-line poker and get to the Florist before my wife gets home from visiting our daughter in Wisconsin. Hallmark Holidays has me by the ballzs. What a sham but we men truly have no choice but to pay the rand-some.

I dislike all holidays that tell you you have to buy this or that for her.

Dan,

I 100% agree with you, but my wife talks to her friends and you can write the rest of the story....

the wife only receives gifts from me on her birthday, X-mas, or our anniversary. Any other "holiday" and I have to remind her that I don't play that Dawson'* Creek, One Tree Hill, Lifetime, television for women bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I try (often fail) to listen to what matters and is important to my wife. She loves Christmas, Valentines Day and Birthdays. She treats me like a king, is beautiful, is better than me in almost every way, so if I have to suck it up and buy flowers and act like I like to do it, it is a very small price to pay.

X3!!
I really hate these types of holidays. How did they ever end up in the calendar anyway?

I'm in the doghouse for the next couple days. I got her a card and she bought some jewelery for herself(from me without knowing) but I didn't get off my *** in time to get flowers.
First thing tomorrow I'm off to the florist to get flowers. Lucky for me, I always have trademark'd excuses why I couldn't get any.

I Love and am Having a Wonderful Valentines!!! Happy Valentines EVERYONE. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But I can get away with it. NOBODY can alter my profile. To kill me takes killing the Forum<evil grin>

Women are like anything else. Your either good at maintaining one, or you aint. For those who are not, Sorry about your luck (and skill level) Mine is washing the dishes, after making a nice early dinner, after a nap she woke me up from by rockin my socks off me. When she'* done with the dishes, I'm going to be the "loving husband" and sit down and watch a "chick flick" with her. Just because I know simple things and showing respect when needed go along way.

Seeing as their isn't a Patron Saint for Beer or Good Time, I havent one to offer.
