Frank:
On the wife'* garage door I have a 1/2 hp Sears screw drive that works well and is 12 years old. 2 years ago my 24 year old 1/2 HP sears chain drive gave up the ghost and I replaced it with a Sears 3/4 hp screw drive. I actually asked the Sears manager if he had one and was told there was one in the back. Picked it up for the cost of the 1/2 HP model. It works really well and is quicker than the 1/2 hp model.
Ask the tool manager if he has any deals on an old unit lying around in the back. You might get lucky.

No he'* not installing it at the present time, I couldn't find the recent Sears flyer so my neighbor lent me his. I selected the model I wanted, but when I went the the Sears store to purchase it they told me that it was last weeks flyer, after arguing with them they would give it to me at last weeks sale price. I found out that Chamberlain makes Sears Garage Door Openers. Any idea how I can get the US Sears flyer for his week? I checked there regular pricing and it'* cheaper in the US.
Morning Bill.
