Default Gear Head HELP!!!!

I'm looking for help with a 96 Monte Carlo 3.4.... The trans is in drive on ever gear selected except park... No codes stored... what should I look for? Help ASAP.

Either a bad selector switch or check for pinched wiring.

Thats what I'm thinking Bill since the car goes in to park nicely but no reverse and every other gear including N is Drive.

I think the problems are bigger then that since it sounds like something is floating around in the trans

upon closer inspection... Yeah I dropped the pan... There were junks of what looked to be bearing cases... SO IMO it'* Grenaded. finished done.....
