Everything is good to go.
I have my tickets, my flight leaves this Saturday and I'll definitely be there this Sunday for the meet.
Looking forward to meeting you all at Harrison in Lake Bluff.

D'oh!!! Okay, I'm back now... I lost this %$#^ thread for some reason, wasn't getting the usual notifications about postings to it... must have hit the Stop Watching button for it or something...

Anyhow, it'* on my calendar for this Sunday; going to make sure I know how to get where I'm going, etc.

Will post here again in mild panic in case I need directions...

What'* i-pass :?:

I'm bringing 4 special rear O2 plugs for anyone who wants to ditch their Catalytic converter and remove the rear sensor. First 4 to arrive gets one.
Anyone want me to bring them an oyster shell from the west coast.

You guys are going to have a great time I cant wait for all the great pics.

The rear o2 will allow you to run a high flow cat and works with both n/a and super charged egines.

One of those automated toll-payment transmitters that let you drive through the tollbooth without stopping. You pre-pay $40 or so to the State of Illinois and get a transmitter to stick on your windshield. You'll see mine when I arrive. As of right now they're good only in Illinois, but we're supposed to be joining the multi-state group in the near future so that our transmitters will be good in other states as well.

What a lot of people might not know is that you can also get a license-plate outside-mount box instead of the windshield transmitter -- that'* what you get if your car has a metallic-coated windshield that blocks the regular transmitter. Our '96 Trans Sport has one. Actually it looked stupid on the front license plate, but I found a great place for it hidden just inside the plastic grille instead.

I am about 50% on making this trip, contingent on a few other things.
