What does the Rebel Flag mean?
When I see people wearing bandanas or shirts or even stickers on their car of the rebel flag I wonder why? What does the rebel flag mean exactly? I read up on it just a second ago and it said it was either to show the interest in southern musical culture or being southern or being racist. The reason I ask this is because I saw this Mexican dude wearing a bandana with the rebel flag and I couldnt stop laughing. Im Hispanic too so its not like I was putting him down I was just confused as to why he would wear such a thing. Could someone educate me on this?

It'* racism. No doubt and no bending it. Around here it'* mostly worn/displayed by the stereotypical hick. It'* something that pisses me off and I'm paler than paper.

I always thought the Confederate flag stood for the south or what colonies were claimed during those days. In some cases it is used for the race thing I think, not sure.

Yeah I believe it is a bit of both depending on the person but usually when I see somebody wearing the flag or showing it I get a little nervous about what their feelings are towards me. But anyways ssesc93, may I ask what your sig is about?

There is a mix all over of people that are racist but some think it'* just cool.
