Brought the Bonny back from AZ to PA
Last weekend I drove a Pontiac Montana from Ithaca, NY and took it to Phoenix, AZ. Drove my Bonneville from Phoenix back to PA. About 4600 miles in four days.
The Montana actually drove great. I was really surprised how nice it road on the interstate. The first 600 miles was all snow and ice, and it did fine in the ice and snow covered interstates.
Driving the Bonneville back was awesome. Getting 27+ mpg in a SSEi with 215k miles is a beautiful things. Now driving the Bonneville to work daily, instead of the F-350. Driving a full size truck as a daily driver is so overrated. The Bonneville is super comfortable, super easy to park. I think GM made a big mistake shelving the 3.8L and the Bonneville platform. They run great, get great mileage, easy to maintain, and once one fixes a few gremlins, they seem to run forever- something that can't be said about most other GM passenger cars....

Ok, if you came up US15/I99, then you must have hit I86. Which way did you go then? I86E to RT13N? If so, you were then 5 miles from my house.
Or, you got RT414N to RT228 to RT13. But that would have taken longer.
I don't know of any good perogis around here,...actually, yea I do. Same place that has the best wings and beer in town.

Sounds like you definitely enjoyed the long ride home in the Bonny.
Get any photos? Sounds like some nasty conditions you drove thru.
If I was ever that close to Mike'*, I would definitely want to drop in!
Would show up with a keg! Mike would make some calls and the party'* on!
Later into the party...
Chances are there would be a few pictures taken!
One pic would probably be of me passed out on the floor like normal, and another of Mike upside down on the couch, with the dog looking at him sideways!
